Next, read and evaluate the research of the Department of Homeland Security report: “Right-wing extremism: Current economic and political climate fueling resurgence in radicalization and recruitment.” This report provides an assessment of the threat of homegrown extremism from right wing groups. 

Conduct a comparative analysis of these two homeland security research reports. Use this general outline to conduct your case study analysis:

  1. Analysis: NYPD Radicalization Report-Executive Summary (1 Page)

  3. Compare and Contrast: (1 page)
    • Which report provided the best analysis?
    • What report used the best research methodology to gather its data?
    • What were the weaknesses of these two reports in their research methods?
    • What other research methods do you believe might improve either reports effectiveness?
    • Do you agree with the analysis of these two reports?
