What might be signs that this group would be contraindicated for a particular child?

Unit 5AA Discussion 1
Groups for Children
Review the group proposal for children who have been abused, described on pages 345–351 of your text. Incorporate concepts from your text and Hiller, Springer, Misurell, Kranzler, and Rizvi’s 2016 research to assess the inclusion of developmental stages and therapeutic factors. Evaluate pregroup screening, composition, and group format. Identify and apply ACA and ASGW ethical principles for clinical practice pertinent to this proposal. What might be signs that this group would be contraindicated for a particular child?
Surveys are commonly done is psychological research.  It is important to understand the concepts of a well-designed survey.*
Imagine you were to create a survey that examined the frequency of drug use in middle school children. Referring back to the considerations for creating surveys presented in this module and in your textbook, what specific factors would you need to consider when developing this survey? Make sure you address considerations related to age (early adolescence) and nature of the topic (drug use).
All written assignments and responses should follow APA rules for attributing sources.

Theories of personality

Theories of personality
Elaborate two interesting, provoked meaningful discussions, one for each topic. 300 words each topic
Topic#1
If you wanted to REALLY find out about a person’s personality, how would you go about it? Would interaction be the key or would you prefer to use a personality test (if you could)? Would simple observation be the key? Think about how many times we make judgments about people’s personality based on very little information (ie, choosing a President, choosing a lover or even a spouse, choosing a babysitter for our child). We often know much less about these people than we think. How could we do a better job of assessing the personality of “important” people in our lives?
Topic#2
One of Freud’s more interesting concepts is that of the Oedipus complex—boys subconsciously lust after their mothers, want to kill their fathers, and eventually model themselves after their fathers so they can hook up with a girl like dear old mom. Do you see any evidence for or against the Oedipus complex in boys? What about the Electra Complex (including penis envy) in girls?

Describe three types of quantitative and three types of qualitative data you want to collect about the public health program you chose, and explain why you would collect each. Then, explain one quantitative and one qualitative method that might be most appropriate to evaluate the program and why.

Describe three types of quantitative and three types of qualitative data you want to collect about the public health program you chose, and explain why you would collect each. Then, explain one quantitative and one qualitative method that might be most appropriate to evaluate the program and why.

Program effectiveness is difficult to prove, even when ample quantitative and qualitative data are available. Just because information is easy to count or describe does not mean that it provides insight. For example, a health promotion program that seeks to teach adults in a community to eat fewer fatty foods in order to avoid heart disease. A report about how many heart attacks occurred in the community might provide some insight on overall cardiac health, but there is no way to collect data on the number of heart attacks that did happen as a result of the program. Moreover, the number of heart attacks alone will not be a relevant data point without being linked to fatty food consumption. However, it may be helpful to look at trends in eating habits as well as trends in heart disease and heart attacks over a 10-year period. As a public health professional, you may be asked to determine what needs to be evaluated (what is being measured) and why, and what data will yield relevant information. For tweek?s Discussion, you will practice planning data collection for effective evaluation using a scenario before collecting data for your own programs. Select one of the following four hypothetical public health programs. Consider the methods and data points that would be the most appropriate in order to evaluate its effectiveness. the number of the scenario you selected (make sure to include the number of your chosen scenario in the subject line). Describe three types of quantitative and three types of qualitative data you want to collect about the public health program you chose, and explain why you would collect each. Then, explain one quantitative and one qualitative method that might be most appropriate to evaluate the program and why.2 pages and 4 references within past 5 years= Aformat.
