Students will choose a company of their liking and use any of the 2 (qualitative or quantitative) research and analysis methods to demonstrate selected perceptions (approved by the faculty) of the company. This project requires you to research, review, and analyze perceptions of the company. Specifically, your research paper will include the following:

• Provide background information on the chosen organization
• Description of the diverse literature available on varied research methods
• Identify the type of research method to be used and justify the reasons for using a particular approach
• Undertake the research method for data collection and analysis and present the findings

Present your findings as a Word document of 5–6 pages (body of paper) formatted in APA style.

Submitting your assignment in APA format means, at a minimum, you will need the following:

1. Title Page: Remember the Running head: AND TITLE IN ALL CAPITALS.
2. Abstract: A summary of your paper, not an introduction. Begin writing in third person voice.
3. Body: The body of your paper begins on the page following the title page and abstract page and must be double-spaced (be careful not to triple- or quadruple-space between paragraphs). The type face should be 12-pt. Times Roman or 12-pt. Courier in regular black type. Do not use color, bold type, or italics except as required for APA-level headings and references. The deliverable length of the body of your paper for this assignment is 5–6 pages. In-body academic citations to support your decisions and analysis are required. A variety of academic sources is encouraged.
4. Reference Page: References that align with your in-body academic sources are listed on the final page of your paper. The references must be in APA format using appropriate spacing, hang indention, italics, and upper and lower case usage as appropriate for the type of resource used. Remember, the Reference Page is not a bibliography but a further listing of the abbreviated in-body citations used in the paper. Every referenced item must have a corresponding in-body citation.

 Cinemotography Post (50 points for discussion/answers 50 pts for initial thread, up to 10 pts extra credt for peer response.) In any of the above movies you will be Describing the films use of depth of field and Mobile Framing.   For depth of film, you are focusing on lens manipulation, for mobile framing, it has to do with actual movement of camera.  Try to include at least two different technicque in each category.

For Depth of field you can look at  deep focus or racking focus or different types of shots; ie. long, medium, extreme-long, close up.  (this all has to do with lens manipulation) .  Pick two techniques to focus on. Describe the way both of the two techniques you chose was used in the film you viewed for this week using a specific scene or scenes. Also, interpret the implicit meaning of the shot. In other words, how does the shot suggest something about the character (or object) being filmed, and what does it suggest? In addition Describe two scenes from the film you watched for this week in which the camera utilized two different mobile Framing techniques. What movements did the camera make and how was it made? How did the use of this technique influence the mise-en-scene? Again what was the implicit meaning of this usage of the camera in this way. Techniques to consider with Mobile Framing  are Angle, Level and height discussed on page 190 and types of mobile framing discussed on page 195.

Use each of the five Core Learning Outcomes to address the issues highlighted in the final introductory paragraph of For the Common Defense. What evidence from our readings suggests that Americans consider themselves essentially peaceful?  What evidence shows Americans as warlike?  Explain this paradoxical love-hate attitude toward war and how this relationship is reflected in America’s military history.  Finally, why is understanding this important?

This analytical core assessment essay should be:

• Double-spaced, font size of 10-12, Times New Roman.
• Citations in proper Chicago Style for History Majors OR MLA or APA Style for non-History Majors.
• Use margins of one-inch on all four sides
• Contain a proper page header with numbered pages.
• Length: 1,000 to 1,500 words (approximately 4 to 6 pages).
• Include an abstract of 40-60 words.
• Include an introduction paragraph with a clear statement of thesis or purpose, and a conclusion paragraph that reiterates your key points.
• Be placed as a Word or rtf document by midnight on Sunday of week 6.

For this research exercise, examine new software products that could assist in communications management for large projects. Focus and make comparisons on 3-5 products. You may use websites for software vendors and/or publications pertaining to the subject. Write a two-page APA format report, summarizing the paper and your findings.

Integrate and identify (with) the concepts from your textbook and the module/course content in your research exercise paper. The heading for the last section of your paper should include an “Author’s Reflection” (your reflection) critiquing of the journal, publication, article, website, or situation examined.  Be sure to use newly acquired terminology.
