Purpose: Adult learners have a great desire to find the meaning in all they say, do, and learn. Connecting with the information, synthesizing with past experience, and hypothesizing about future application helps adult learners connect with what they have learned to make it more meaningful. In this journal, you will take some time to think about what has been meaningful for you this past five weeks.

Prepare: Review your discussion posts and the ongoing conversations with your classmates. What stood out to you? What was exciting and very relevant to your career goals or your personal life?

Reflect: As we wrap up this course, please take some time to reflect on what you have learned about yourself by exploring your past positive experiences, your personality, your ability to manage your time, your healthy lifestyle, and your ‘fit’ with your academic program of study. What are two self-discoveries that you believe will positively impact your career goals? Your personal life?

Write: Answer the following questions in two- to three-sentence paragraphs each:

What if I don’t have Microsoft Word?

Ashford University technology requirements indicate that files must be written in Microsoft Word. Assignments can only be accepted in the form of .doc and .docx files (Microsoft Word file types). However, if you do not have access to Microsoft Word, you may be able to use the following workaround:
