onsider the following question: As a counselor in training, how you would assist an individual during their elderhood

COU 510 Week Eight Small Group Discussion Rubric Small group discussions in this course allow you to develop deeper connections with a smaller segment of the class. These small group discussions are an opportunity for you to create a sense of community within the course. They are also a great opportunity to get to know your peers and make professional connections. Your active participation in these small group discussion forums is essential to your overall success this term. Discussions will utilize video within the YouSeeU tools, which gives you practical experience interacting in a face-to-face manner with the benefit of an asynchronous environment. Discussion questions are designed to provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate your openness to new ideas and to practice how to respond when you do not agree. It is important for counselors to develop this nonjudgmental disposition and to build a culture that appreciates dif ferences. Prompt: After readings this week’s assigned readings, pick one of the following topics and research the topic using the Shapiro Library. Consider the following question: As a counselor in training, how you would assist an individual during their elderhood? Use a lifespan theory to hel p explain your response. Post one scholarly resource with your initial post. Use the Shapiro Library research guide to assist in your research.
