Exceptionality Presentation In this course, you have learned about a range of exceptionalities in children. For this assignment, you will have the opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of a particular exceptionality. The local public school has asked you to give a presentation to parents or teachers about a specific exceptionality of your choice. The presentation should cover at least two peer-reviewed articles. Select an exceptionality for this assignment and provide the following information in your presentation: Describe the exceptionality, including its identification and assessment. Explain the incidence of exceptionality in children, including known causes or those hypothesized in peer-reviewed research. Describe the cultural considerations in identification, assessment, and intervention. Hypothesize the prognosis. Be sure to include detailed speaker notes to accompany each slide to elaborate on the talking points being raised in the slide. Use the accompanying PowerPoint presentation tip list to assist in formatting the presentation and speaker’s notes. Be sure to include a title slide and a slide with your references. All citations and the reference list should follow APA format.  Develop a 15–20-slide presentation in PowerPoint (not counting the title and reference list slides). Provide detailed speaker notes for each slide of your presentation, which include the main talking points for the topic addressed in the slide. 1.  title page..lower that title..it’s too high..center the title in the middle of the page

 

2.  don’t forget you will have to insert page numbers on each page and also on the table of contents

 

3.  do not use roman numerals for your questions on part I

 

4.  your hypotheses and theories go on a separate page, not at the bottom of part I’s page

 

5.  variables must be in order by importance..gender is your first variable, race, age etc…then your questions and hypotheses and theories must also be in that same order.  Gender must be variable #1 because you need it to be data table #1 too when you get to that part.

 

6. Sampling procedure must be on a separate page..not on the same page with your hypotheses and theories..follow my example for formatting..every part has it’s own page..

 

7.  how many will be in your sample size..you also need the Babbie statement at the bottom of the sampling procedure

 

8.  cover letter..use month, day and year…follow my example..don’t leave a space after the date and your address must be the name of the organization, street name, city, state, zip.  You need to come up with the name of someone to send this letter too..you can’t just send it to the organization..do you have any idea how many people work there?  They wouldn’t know where or who to give this to

 

9.  If you are going to use block format for your letter, then keep it all in block format..follow my example okay?

Assignment 6 Project Part 2 – Due by midnight 2/17.  Exponential Smoothing Forecast. 

This assignment addresses forecasting your selected Y data (dependent variable) using an exponential smoothing technique.  Note:  Do not use the X (independent) variables in this exercise.  Use only one exponential smoothing method — the best that applies. Do not use any other forecasting techniques in this assignment.

a) Tell me why you selected the appropriate exponential smoothing method by commenting on your Y data characteristics. (you should use a time series plot and autocorrelations to do this), 

b) Apply the appropriate exponential smoothing forecast technique to your Y variable excluding the last two years of data (hold out period).  Show the Y data, fitted values and residuals in excel format and show your exponential smoothing model coefficients. (Find the correct coefficient and not just use the default values.)

c) Evaluate the “Goodness To Fit” using at least two error measures — RMSE and MAPE.

d) Check the “Fit” period residual mean proximity to zero and randomness with a time series plot; check the residual time series plot and autocorrelations (ACFs)  for trend, cycle and seasonality.  

e) Evaluate the residuals for the “Fit” period by indicating the residual distribution using a histogram (normal or not and random or not), 

f) Comment on the acceptability of the model’s ability to pick up the systematic variation in your Fit period actual data.

g) Develop a two year forecast  (for the hold out period). 

h) Evaluate the “Accuracy” of the forecast for the “hold out period” using RMSE and MAPE error measures used from forecast period residuals and comment them.  

i) Do the forecast period residuals seem to be random relative to the hold out period data? Check the forecast period time series plot of the residuals.

j) Did the error measures get worse, remain the same or get better from the fit to the hold out period?  Do you think the forecast accuracy is acceptable?

Show your work and graphs in a Word document.  Make sure that you comment on statistics and graphs relevant to answering the above questions.  DO NOT leave statistics and graphs alone without an comment.  If you show something write about it. Again, this is a single Word document with any Mintab results copied and pasted in it.

You need to pick one overall subject and talk about it in-depth. Right now you are switching from topic to topic without one overall theme that organizes this paper. I would limit your discussion to just looking at drug use and the stress of college students, or limit your paper to discussing just the ides of how men and women function inside and outside of the classroom and if college favors one gender over another. Currently there are just too many topics being discussed. Your introduction needs to address what you are going to talk about in your paper and then introduce your reader to that topic. You then need to discuss that topic in the body paragraphs of your paper. Your conclusion should include your opinion and summarize all the main points.and i want the question at the end like paragraph after the interdiction and u should what u will talking about in the interdiction.

Therefore, businesses need to do all they can to keep current with these trends and ensure their staff is current as well.

Using the Argosy University online library resources and the Internet, research the latest technology that is being utilized in the field of business analytics for data-driven decision making. Select at least 2 scholarly sources for use in this assignment.

Complete the following:

• Find and describe at least three technological components that are required for data-driven decision making. Be sure to explain how each component is relevant to business analytics.
• Describe how a company would implement each of these components of technology. Explain the purpose and how it would be utilized within the company. Explain any other considerations that should be taken into account.
