Exception-Handling-programming-homework-help

  • Exception Handling

You decide to upload your recent project to a programming community website for feedback, and one thing that community users keep pointing to is the lack of exception handling. Realizing that they are correct, you decide to rectify the situation and improve your programs… or at least one of them. Take one of the programs you designed over the past couple of weeks and enhance the program with exception handling code. Your program should incorporate the TRY and EXCEPT blocks and handle any errors and exceptions that you can find.

    For this project:

    • You will submit your python code in either the original .py file, or copied into a .txt file.
    • A screenshot of your code having been executed and demonstrating your exception handling. How to Take a Screenshot.

Tips: Exception handling programming takes a bit of forethought. Think about ways that you can make your program malfunction while using it (not by changing the code).

PROFESSIONAL-DOCTORATE-EDD-STUDENTS-Week-4-Article-B-Research-Theroy-8110-Walden-University

There is a link between understanding the purpose of one’s research and selecting the appropriate methods to investigate the questions that are derived from that purpose.

–(Newman, Ridenour, Newman, & DeMarco, G. M. P., Jr., 2003, p. 169)

For this Discussion, you will evaluate the purpose statements in assigned journal articles in your discipline and consider the alignment of theory, problem, and purpose. You will also explain your position on the relationship between research and social change.

Alignment means that a research study possesses clear and logical connections among all of its various components. To achieve these connections, researchers must carefully craft the components of their study such that when they are viewed together, there is a coherent interrelationship.

As you read the authors’ purpose statements, consider how well the intent of the study, and its connection to the problem and theoretical framework, is presented. Also consider if the purpose statement reveals the study’s potential for engendering positive social change.

As you know, social change is a distinguishing feature of Walden University’s mission. Positive social change implies a transformation that results in positive outcomes. This can happen at many levels (e.g., individual, family systems, neighborhoods, organizations, nationally and globally); and positive social change can occur at different rates: slow and gradual or fast and radical.

With these thoughts in mind, refer to the Journal Articles handout for your assigned articles for this Discussion. You will switch your journal article assignment from Week 3. If your last name starts with A through L, use Article B. If your last name starts with M through Z, use Article A. Follow the prompt below for your program.

Professional doctorate (EdD) students

Post by Day 4 a critique of the research study in which you:

  • Evaluate the purpose statement using the Purpose Statement Checklist as a guide
  • Analyze alignment among the theory, problem, and purpose
  • Explain your position on the relationship between research and social change

Be sure to support your Main Issue Post and Response Post with reference to the week’s Learning Resources and other scholarly evidence in APA Style.

Read a selection of your classmates’ postings.

Respond by Day 6 to a classmate who was assigned a different article than you by further supporting his or her critique or respectfully offering a differing perspective.

Week 4

If your last name starts with A through L, use Article B.

the-ways-internet-conveniences-have-transformed-people-s-expectations-and-interactions

The purpose of this paper is to consider the ways in which the Internet has altered our social encounters and behavior, and to investigate the ways internet conveniences have transformed people’s expectations and interactions.

This paper will take a look at a few of the ways that the Internet has significantly altered the way people have evolved socially, as well as some of the pros and cons associated with that evolution.

It is the hope of the author that this paper will provide insight into whether the conveniences offered by the Internet have had more of a positive effect on the personal lives of individuals and their interactions with one another, or if the affect is ultimately creating a more negative personal environment. CRITICAL-THINKING-ANALYSIS-REPORT-THE-MAKING-OF-MORAL-VIRTUOUS-PERSON-

CRITICAL THINKING ANALYSIS REPORT: THE MAKING OF MORAL (VIRTUOUS) PERSON

WHAT IS IT TO BE MORAL? OR ETHICAL?

1. DO YOU ADHERE PLATO’S ARGUMENT ABOVE? OR DO YOU ADHERE ARISTOTLE? Why?

2. IF YOU ARE ARISTOTLE, HOW WILL YOU CHANGE THE ATTITUDE OF THE CHILD USING THE PRINCIPLE IN VIRTUE ETHICS CALLED HABITUATIONS. What is its importance today? What do you think, if everyone is virtuous, will it make a difference for people in society? Comment on this…

Limit: Maximum of 2 pages, double spaced, standard font.

EDUCATION (LEARNING VIRTUES) VS PRACTICE (DOING VIRTUOUS ACTS)

We believe on education as important in changing lives. We love to hear good words, nice examples, nourishing stories of good people, and mostly hearing stories of lives of saints and heroes. THIS IS PART OF LEARNING VIRTUES. Plato the teacher of Aristotle had always emphasized to his students in the early Greek civilization (around 3rd Cent/4th Cent BCE), “TO KNOW THE GOOD MAKES ONE DO THE GOOD. IGNORANCE OF THE GOOD MAKES ONE DOES EVIL.?” Stories of good life tell us what is it to do the good.

HOWEVER, we are also hearing from ARISTOTLE’S SIDE, the student of Plato, THAT KNOWLEDGE OF THE GOOD DOES NOT GUARANTEE OF DOING THE GOOD. FOR TODAY’S EXPERIENCE, many professionals, intellectuals, good leaders, mostly educated individuals (including teachers) from all folks of life have committed crimes, immorality, mistakes, and even violate the call of good life. HENCE, no guarantee of moral life thru education. WE NEED HABITUATiON—repeated practice of good life to become MORAL PERSON FIRST….thus practice, practice and practice of moral action/s daily all of our lives.
