Businesses today are extremely reliant on large amounts of data for making intelligent business decisions. Likewise, the data warehouses are often structured in a manner that optimizes processing large amounts of data.

Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you:

1. Outline the main differences between the structure of a relational database optimized for online transactions versus a data warehouse optimized for processing and summarizing large amounts of data.
2. Outline the main differences between database requirements for operational data and for decision support data.
3. Describe three (3) examples in which databases could be used to support decision making in a large organizational environment.
4. Describe three (3) examples in which data warehouses and data mining could be used to support data processing and trend analysis in large organizational environment.
5. Use at least three (3) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-specific format. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.

What to Turn In

 

Read and follow the directions below carefully, and perform the steps in the order listed. You will be turning in your work electronically via a submitted assignment within Eagle Online. Make sure and check your work prior to submission of the assignment.

 

Note: Anytime we ask you to name a folder or file with lastname_firstname_, it always means you are to change the word lastname to your last name and the firstname to your first name.

 

·         Create a folder named lastname_firstname_HTML.

 

·         You will be doing the following three exercises. Each of these exercises will have you create web pages. Make sure all the web pages are saved in the folder above. If the web pages use any graphic files, make sure the graphic files are also saved in the above folder.

When someone talks about customers, people mostly think about an individual customer. However, some companies search for more opportunities to increase profit and build long-term relationships with a business or an organization. 
Write an essay about a business that you see has an opportunity to reach a business or an organization as a customer. You can either use a real world business or create a business that you want to use. If you are a marketing director of the company, what will be your marketing plan to a business or an organizational customer? Select products and/or services you will offer to your customers. Your target customers can be domestic or abroad. You can also use suppliers from other countries. For example, you can order garments from a country in Asia and sell them to a business or an organization in the U.S.

You have read about classical, biological, and psychological explanations for criminal behavior. This assignment requires you to compare theories already explored in this module. As you prepare this assignment, you should list the tenets for each theory. Think about how they build on the previous theories and then deviate into a new explanation for behavior.

Tasks:

Prepare a 2- to 3-page report that compares classical, biological, and psychological theories. Your paper should:

• Describe how these theories are both similar to and unlike one another.
• Explain which theory is most applicable to crimes committed today.
